Rio de Janeiro, February 1, 2023 - ExxonMobil's Global Business Center (GBC) in Curitiba received Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification as an excellent place to work in the state of Paraná. GPTW is a global research consultancy that supports organizations to achieve the best results through a culture of trust, high performance and innovation.

  • The certification was based on a questionnaire answered by more than 900 employees of the Global Business Center in Curitiba
The result was based on a questionnaire answered by more than 900 ExxonMobil employees in Curitiba, and considered the criteria of credibility, respect, belonging, satisfaction and a sense of community. “ExxonMobil has always valued the care, well-being and continuous development of its employees. Obtaining certification from GPTW, a company that works with internationally recognized methods, reinforces our best practices. Constantly listening to our employees and understanding how we are in relation to market expectations and parameters is a way to improve our initiatives every year”, says Samantha Franco, HR manager. GBC employs more than 1,800 people and is recognized as a plural and inclusive work environment, reflecting the company's culture in the ESG pillars. GPTW provides an international seal of certification that ensures organizations, such as ExxonMobil, are aligned with the standards of excellence needed to become great workplaces. This was the first year that ExxonMobil applied and it already obtained the desired result. “The seal is a demonstration of all our work over the years to promote the mental health, well-being and development of our employees”, adds Franco.
